Is this an officially unofficial recognition of how very special Hay Bluff and the Tregoyd Estate is?

The mysterious appearance of an upended shiny silver 10ft prism has caused wonder and horror in equal measure. The truth of the matter is that it has landed on the Tregoyd Estate and this without warning or indeed an invitation.

How wonderfully exciting!

Hay Bluff aka Waun Fach and Lord Hereford’s Knob aka Twmpa are the two famous peaks which form part of this truly beautiful 5000 acre estate on the Welsh Borders near Hay-on-Wye and deep within the protective arms of the Brecon Beacons National Park aka Bannau Brycheiniog.

Who put it there? What is it? How was it transported? The delights of not knowing, not being able to google and have the answers within seconds are driving people crazy with delight.

Incidentally, our newest hill cottage addition Pen-y-Cwm has panoramic views of Hay Bluff and now a monolith perhaps on a sunny day.
